How far in advance do I need to make a reservation?

We recommend making a reservation 6 – 8 weeks in advance. However we always accept last minute bookings.

 



How long is an average party?

A typical event runs 3 hours long. This allows plenty of time for guest arrival, getting shoed up and on the lanes, and of course eating and drinking, and bowling! If you have a large guest count, we recommend that you pre organise teams up 6 persons so there is no delay on the day.

 

Do you require a deposit?

Yes- once you wish to book your event, we require an initial 20% deposit to secure your reservation. Confirmation of final numbers and remaining balance is due 7 days prior to your function

Is the deposit refundable?
We will refund the full amount of the deposit 21days from the event date.

 

What if I need to change my event date?

Pending on availability, we will do our best to try and accommodate you date change. If you’ve paid your non refundable 20% deposit, this will simply be applied to the new date.

 

What if my guest count changes from the amount guaranteed?

We understand that you may experience a change in your guaranteed guest count. Any changes must be made 72 hours in advance of your event date. You will be billed for the number of guests guaranteed or the actual number in attendance – which ever is higher.

 



I would like to serve a more upscale and customised menu for my event. Am I limited the menu selections on the packages?

You are not limited to our sample menus. We specialize in private events and understand that food is an important element of the party. Manhattan Superbowl is teamed up with the Newmarket Hotel located next door and can create any type of desires menu.

 

Can we bring our own catering and drinks?

Since Manhattan Superbowl & the Newmarket Hotel is a fully licensed venue, we do not allow any outside catering or drinks. Let us know if there is something special you would like to do and we will work with you on the menu.
We do however allow you to bring your own Birthday Cake.

 

Do you cater for people with special dietary requirements?

Yes. Speak  to one of function coordinators that will tailor a menu to suit your requirements.

 

Do you have a private function room?

Private function spaces are available at the Newmarket Hotel. The areas are ideal for pre bowling conference, presentations, and product launches. The room can also be used for birthdays, weddings, and christenings.

The Terrace Bar can accommodate up 60 people standing and has its own private bar & audio facilities.

The Chevy function room can accommodate up 160 people standing and 100 seated. n It’s fully equipped with a bar, bathroom amenities, stage, and audio/visual facilities.

The function spaces are based on a minimum food & beverage spend excluding the bowling expenditure.

 

We may end up having too much fun—can we stay longer once our party officially ends?

We know what you mean—once you hit the lanes and start having fun, it’s pretty hard to stop! We’d love to keep the party going, so as long as availability permits, you can always buy additional game on the day of your event. Otherwise, you are welcome to enjoy a drink next door at the Newmarket Hotel. The beer garden is a perfect place to recap on the bowling scores.

Is there parking?

Yes, we have under cover parking which is FREE. You are also welcome to leave the car over night should you wish to drink.

 

Am I able to hire out the entire venue for a large group or event?

Yes, Manhattan Superbowl is available for complete venue buyouts. We can theme the venue to suit your event or use the retro décor. Please contact our event coordinator to discuss availability, pricing, and minimum spend.
